Testing testing...1..2..3..123
Wolf here is now rendered (cheers teegs). Also, the layout is missing a CG shop on the left. I've blocked it with Wolf so you don't really notice. There will also be a C.G trash can where that white blob is peeping out from "Chucks" (a nod to Mr. Jones).
Colouring: This guy with the same colours as before doesn't work here. So, excitingly, his colours will evolve too! To become brighter and more vibrant (why didn't I think of that before?)
I can't beleive I missed that gap under his arm. I'm soooo embarrassed.

I'm all over that like a rash.
ReplyDeleteHahaha I love that expression. This was also a test to see how quickly we could theoretically knock out layouts. This one took about 4 hours I think, (minus the missing CG building, but that only has to be modeled once..which I'll do tomorrow).
ReplyDeleteI thank the lords or music I had 2 new albums to listen to while doing it otherwise it probably would've taken about a week. I get really bored doing layouts. Don't like 'em, don't like em one bit!
Lookin' sharp!
ReplyDeleteI think so too. And now there's no white under the arm. My embarrassment ends
ReplyDeleteHow are you rendering the frames? Is it going to be an individual photoshop colouring mission or is there some miracle method?
ReplyDeleteI like it tho, lookin good :)
What bit do you mean for? Wolf's colouring? Haven't figured out if Toon Boom can do it yet, though I have a sneaking suspicion it can...
ReplyDeletebut me and Teegs have discussed it, if Toon Boom can't, this was done in photoshop which isn't too much of a big deal for one character...
ReplyDeleteCorrect!
ReplyDeleteAs long as we draw in the shadows/highlights to they stay consistent, it's easy.
oh I am LOVING this! wolf looks fantastic coloured and shaded! I can see the shading style you were talking about in back in action! works really well! the layout looks cool simple but effective for the environment that's needed
ReplyDeleteI'd be happy if every frame looks like this. I think it's more than possible
